Nicole — Care Concierge
When Nicole was 9, she found a bird with a broken wing in her driveway. She fixed it with tape from the kitchen drawer. Nicole says, “Corny, I know, but when that bird flew again, I decided I was going to help fix people for the rest of my life.”

Dr. Melendez — Primary Care
Working in the jungles of Bolivia, Dr. Melendez realized something. Her tuberculosis patients weren’t completing their treatment even though it was fully paid for. She couldn’t figure out why. Then it hit her: treating the whole person is vital. This became her guiding principle.
“I see the whole person, not just a medical profile. I treat the whole person not just a medical symptom. Let me help you live longer, happier, and healthier.”

Dr. Yan — Primary Care
Dr. Yan served on the front lines in Urgent Care for the first 15 months of the pandemic, working 12 hour shifts, all with small children at home. The daily fear of infecting her baby and toddler was immense. Her husband built a UV light sanitizing cupboard in their garage that her clothes and breast pump went in at the end of every shift. Dr Yan now carries this same sacrificial commitment as a Medici Primary Care Doctor. She loves her patients deeply, and insists on taking as much time as necessary to ensure thorough care.

Adel — Nursing
Adel studied accountancy, then law, and then became a nurse! Her career path changed after she was a care-giver to her aunt and another dear friend through their cancer. Adel was at their side through diagnosis, chemotherapy, and when they finally passed. She realized that as an accountant or lawyer she would not have the privilege of helping people at their most vulnerable moments, but as a nurse she would.
“I won’t stop until you have what you need. Caring for you is my calling!”

Dr. Finn’s brilliant mind and expansive heart converge to make her an outstanding doctor. Her patients are left in no doubt as to how important they are to her! Dr. Finn is also qualified in substance abuse disorders, and in her spare time volunteers as the Medical Director of a pregnancy center.

Bobbie — Nursing
Between the age of 15 and 17 years, Bobbie accompanied her aunt to all her cancer appointments. Along the way she encountered some nurses and some exceptional nurses. After personally experiencing the difference between the two, she decided there and then to spend her life as an exceptional nurse giving exceptional care to her patients.

Bethany — Nutrition & Lifestyle
Bethany became a nutrition and lifestyle expert because of two great loves in her life: people and food! As a passionate foodie, she doesn’t deprive her patients of the joy of good food. Rather, she helps them play the long game, and believes the health elephant is best eaten one tasty bite at a time. She is a one-person hype team, celebrating every tiny step forward that each patient takes with her. Best of all, having fought battles of her own, Bethany is easy to talk to. She has only one firm rule about her relationship with a patient: it’s a judgement-free zone.

Dr. Smiley — Veterinary
A client brought his sick dog to Aaron and said, “Doc, this dog recently saved my life. I was on the point of suicide, but then I thought, ‘Who would look after my dog?’ I’m still here because of my love for my dog.” Aaron celebrates the symbiotic relationship between people and their pets.
“Pets make us happy and we make them part of the family. I love pets and people. Allow me the privilege of caring for you by caring for your pet!”
